England definitely been dealt with harshly having watched other tacklers let off with lesser sanctions
Even moreso when Eddie Jones is at the helm

And yes, I just don't get the decision regarding Curry given what's not been given in all the matches since

Not a good half.

Agree. They don’t look like a team that is anywhere near likely to go the distance.

Job done, but we'd get turned over by anyone who might be runner up in group C playing like that.

Yes - for 60 minutes the back line looked like it was the first time they’d ever played together.

There is potential there but the precision needs to increase dramatically.

The Lawes try seemed to break Japan even though he looked embarrassed to to score it

Well placed to get through the group now though, looking forward to the Samoa game though 8-)

I got the feeling he thought it was a knock on, but as one should, he played to the whistle half expecting it to be chalked off.

Can't decide who I would prefer to play in the next round out of Fiji or Australia. Definitely not Wales!

I think we'd probably struggle against either, but I just think we'd have a better chance of strangling Fiji's game with a bit of an attritional approach. Just keep kicking it to touch, their line out looks like a weak point based on what I've seen.

What an arm wrestle

Wouldn't have been tougher if they were allowed to punch each other, brutal!

Proper old skool game.

The 7/1 seemed to work in open play but not so much in the set pieces.

Really pleased!

Great end to the Tonga game for us - Darcy Graham runs and jinks like a wee hare 8-)

I feel Ritchie Gray lives in 0.8x normal speed though. :?

Good win for Scotland.

Tonga are always great value in the entertainment stakes but sadly still very underfunded to be competitive!

I've read this week that they have very little kit, even down to training with replica balls rather than RWC match balls, having to wash their own gear and no funding for recovery/training food etc!

Probably worth adding that the RWC organisers don't allow teams to have a sponsor which obviously impacts smaller less wealthy unions greater.

Yeah it’s a bit of a shame the funding thing.

Some nations have recently tried to sort money for them - I know the home nations have.

Was just thinking this morning about last nights game a little more. Brutally physical game but not a sniff of a yellow card. Even when Etzebeth ended up vertical, you can see lads on both teams mouthing “Watch him, watch him” - great to see

Two very professional teams

Wow, Australia have fallen such a long way. Never thought I'd hear myself say this but I actually feel a little sorry for their guys on the pitch - they had nothing against what is only a recovering Wales side. Their pack got mauled by what is a fairly light Welsh pack.

How long will Eddie Jones last?

That was quite a hard watch. Delighted for Wales, but the Aus guys looked so devastated to offer such a poor showing.

He’s a clown, toxic to anyone he’s involved with (except perhaps Japan)
