Thank for the wishes. Yeah, it's shit, this year is not going well. I know a few of you have been through it, and happens to everyone eventually, but still doesn't prepare you for it.
The police came round and did the "can we come in and talk" routine, and I didn't really have in mind that my mum might be at risk, or that I was down as next of kin. So with my daughter in nursery and my wife in London that day you can only imagine where my mind was going while I went and left the Teams call I was in and went to talk to them in the hall. I just didn't expect that it could be my mum.
