For me, free as I chose not to. The kids who did were / are very successful.

My younger sister went tho and then ended up at oxford.

The childcare thing is cheap compared to the schooling I reckon - your car could go?

No way, I want my kid to turn out like you.

What does your sister do now and has she got kids?

Well there you go. Car for sale, move somewhere cheaper and enjoy life more. Win.

Back to the budget - do you own your business? Pensions the way forward but then you are controlled on spending it and taxed on the way out.

eh? That's the opposite of what I said!

How about your sister. Sounds like she could be a useful reference in this discussion - she's presumably a middle aged woman with a good career - has she had kids and how has she managed the childcare and keeping her career? Presumably she's like me, earns enough to just make it work - though should it only be people like me and your sister who can have kids?

why? You brought up your sister as an example in the discussion - we're just following the natural flow of the discussion. It's even on topic!!

You clearly have an issue with the English language. Maybe your sister can help you with your spelling?

I can assure you that private school does not cost as much as nursery  And the wraparound care is cheap as fuck by comparison.

Of course but its the first step. I'm blown away how much looking after your own family costs.

as per my previous post, why would I want to go onto private messages? It's totally on topic with this thread?

Your opening post talks about childcare for high earners. You don't have kids but mentioned your sister in a reply.

So, perhaps your sister, who is presumably now at or past child bearing age and, as an Oxford graduate might be earning a high wage, might be a useful reference piece for the discussion?

Or, perhaps you just wanted to sneer at everyone else who hasn't taken your own route through life, like usual?
