The figures are based on data I work with every day, we probably would’ve got some of the volume back if we’d been willing to put up with the shit for however long but we decided to invest in a facility in Germany to get the volume back that way.

Oh right - sorry. When you said "our" I thought you meant as in Britain but you meant your particular export impacts.
My bad...

Nope, our sales in general went up over lockdown. It was customs legislation and uncertainty about deliveries that killed our international volume.
Enjoying your latest spiral though mate.
Not me with the drink issue fatty

In summary, rates should've been much higher over the last 15 years (and better taking into account house prices into inflation figures) and much lower now. The end.
You're on the money.
Unfortunately people squealing are about to lose their comfy credit based life. Cunts.
Why do you think a lot of people rely on credit and base everything on what they can afford each month?
Maybe something to do with the average house price being something like 12x the average salary now. I’m assuming you bought back in the late 90s / early 2000s when it was more like 5x ? One of the benefits of being an old git I suppose. When your mortgage payments are such a huge chunk of your income it makes it pretty hard to build up any substantial savings so people end up on the credit loop.
Very easy for people who’s mortgages have shrunk while their property value has risen massively to tell others who’ve recently, or not yet got onto the ladder, how easy it is.

So that sounds less like Brexit and more like the frankly absurd customs regs they decided to being in for any international imports.
That was a stupid move that I still don't understand

We wouldn't have had to deal with the customs bedlam if not for Brexit though. People in Europe would've just got their parcels instead of refusing them because they weren't expecting a big customs hit.

Well, yes, but the regs aren't there because of Brexit. They're there because the Gov't are morons.

Splitting hairs to try and isolate the thing you voted for from the trouble it caused?

Because they do. And it's not thought, it's fact.

Not at all. Just making sure the facts are straight

Brexit did not cause the customs shambles, but yes, it did enable it.
As for what I voted for let's not go down that tired old avenue of discourse

Do you have a mortgage on your rented flat? Just out of interest, and on topic.

You're clearly desperate to get a rise out of me but you might as well give up, I don't care enough about your pathetic patter to get mad about it.
I'll ask our landlord about the mortgage though.
