They adaptive charge. If you set an alarm in the morning it will trickle charge through the night to be 100% as the alarm goes off.

If you want the 30w charging you'll need the Google PD charger or even better an Anker that has PD spec and more.

I use an Anker as it will charge my Probook, iPad, switch etc as well as phone.

Other fast phone chargers are typically 15 or 25w max

If you dig into the specs Pixel 7 supports PPS for charging (an add-on for PD3.0). The Google charger supports this but not so many others.

The reverse charging thing (Ie charge a wireless device from your P7 Pro) works OK, although think it's limited to 5w.

Bit useless for a phone but for those of you with earbuds etc it might be useful to get an extra hour out of them if you go flat, out and about.

Looks like I'll be getting a 7 Pro as my work phone to go with my personal 6 Pro 😂 #googleduptothefuckingnuts 😂

Bought the Anker GanPrime 65W charger as obviously my old P5 charger will go when I sell the 5 this weekend.#

Seems ok so far. A bit taller than the pixel charger but charges 3 things at the same time. I want to get rid of the charger clutter at the side of the bed.

It's when you say 'hey google' and 4 devices all come alive at once you know you have an issue

I've been working off chromebooks for years and they really are all you need plus a decent phone.

The call quality on the pro 7 is a step up from my last phone - both had wifi calling. Moved back to Voda from 3 which to be honest was not so good overall.

I'm pleased with mine.

Done. Thanks for the reminder. Also got a reminder to order a case, as the phone managed to slide off a perfectly level desk. It is one slippery mofo.

👍

Lots on eBay already for 200 quid and up. Was there another way to get them free/cheap?

Were they shipped with the phones if you ordered via the Google Store? For some reason I had it in mind that they were.

I got my Pixel Buds with my 7 order that came from the Google Store. Possibly the same for the watch too.

Done my one too. The confirmation email for my Google watch that I get to redeem for buying my Google phone went to my Gmail spam folder.

Well done Google. Well done.

While I could speculate, I imagine it's just because so much spam has references to offers and redemption of things etc.

DKIM, SPF and all the techy bits were fine, just the content that set it off presumably.

My claim has been approved so I should see my shiny piece of tat by, er, end of January

60 days seems a long lead time for something but I guess retail stuff gets priority etc.

Or they don't want eBay flooded with loads of watches at the same time...

I've not looked at the reviews but presumably they're ok?

I don't wear a watch usually

Yeah a bit weird for me tbh - I haven't worn a watch in probably 15 years or so - there's no need is there when you have a phone?

But I'm not turning free shit down - I'd lose my Northern Passport.

Same. I tried an old smartwatch a few years ago and wasn't impressed, but apparently they're better now?

Who knows.
