I'm two months into my Blood Pressure meds - Ramipril - and so far so good. BP's down to 120/130 over 82/85. Still not perfect but way better than before. The last drop will come when I lose more of the Covid Weight.
Only side effect I'm experiencing is Acid Indigestion so some foods (which, to be honest, I probably shouldn't be eating anyway) had had to go by the wayside.

Sorry for the rough time you're having. Do the doctors have any feeling for what it is that is causing the seizures? I saw an early post that pointed at something to do with the optic nerve but then it looked like it wasn't that?

Sorry to hear it has been so troublesome to manage but there is always the hope they will get there in the end. I think sometimes you spend so long looking for a trigger it can send you a bit barmy (maybe it was that extra garlic clove I put in the mince etc) and hard to accept that it can be a random process in idiopathic seizure disorders.
Ramipril is good for what ails ya. Great evidence of preserving kidney function, reducing risk of heart dysfunction, etc etc

They’re a pain in the arse to get blue badges through, they seem to take an absolute age to get, took ages for my wife’s to come. Once you’ve got it you’ll be able to apply for a bus pass too

6 months seizure free is great.
Insomnia + inability to drive sounds like a perfect excuse you get yourself a basic force-feedback wheel and a driving game or two: see the recent Forza thread.
