It never arrived - still one year to go! I did buy the 325ti in 2021 though, which is surely a worthy contender!scotta wrote: Thu Dec 23, 2021 12:03 pmHe must have as it was recorded on the public vote.Jobbo wrote: Thu Dec 23, 2021 12:01 pm Did Jim actually get his Disco Sport? I thought it had been delayed so would have to be competing next year.

FECPOTY - 2021 - Get voting...
Re: FECPOTY - 2021
Re: FECPOTY - 2021
Doing FECPOTY properly takes a LOT of time.
Last time I collated all the contenders in advance, wrote daft summaries, scott did all the voting pish yada yada (on the old forum) it was literally hours and hours. And then there is all the time with the counsellor afterwards cos Rich or Rev complains about the dates.
I can assure you that just making it up is WAY easier.

it would probably be easier if you just did a standard poll on the right date without adding any daft last minute rule changes. But I'm cool with this method too!
Re: FECPOTY - 2021
I’m off to start a car enthusiasts suffrage committee.
How about not having a sig at all?

no idea what you're asking. OV9 doesn't have subscriptions or issues and it is not the same as ecotymik wrote: Sat Jan 01, 2022 10:40 pm I’m no longer a subscriber, so when the Jan ‘22 issue comes out @Rich B can you please let us know who the contenders are? Thanks dude.![]()
But, for FECPOTY
A nomination thread goes out in late December (that way you don't have embarrassing situations where you have cars from 2020 or any late purchases missed) then 1st jan or later, a poll of all the qualifying cars gets added.
Re: FECPOTY - 2021
Of course FECPOTY isn’t ECOTY. We ‘ave an eff, and a pee.Rich B wrote: Sat Jan 01, 2022 10:55 pm no idea what you're asking. OV9 doesn't have subscriptions or issues and it is not the same as ecoty

And what about poor Jobbo? He's been missed off entirely!
Re: FECPOTY - 2021 - Get voting...
You bought that years ago. The GTS was end of last year.
Re: FECPOTY - 2021 - Get voting...
Sacrifices were made due to forum limitations - max 10 on the poll.

My one can go in next years to make room - it was in November like Paul's GTS purchase was the previous year, so it's close enough...
