Those stabbings yesterday were pretty horrible. Some things you don't really need to see on social media. Too many people quickly jumping to the wrong conclusion as it was after a blm protest.

We should probably be making more noise about how we’ve solved racism

As soon as I saw about them banning the Confederate flag at NASCAR, I knew there'd be something like this happen sadly.

Turns out the noose in the nascar garage has been there since October 2019 and is used to close a door or something. Nice to see that it was investigated properly and quickly though

Still shouldn't have been there.

“From the evidence that we have — that I have, it’s a straight-up noose,” Wallace told CNN. “The image that I have, and I have seen, of what was hanging in my garage is not a garage pull…we’ve raced out of hundreds of garages that never had garage pulls like that.
“Whether someone tied it in 2019 … It wasn’t directed at me, but it was a noose.”

Catching up on this one - is this the noose?

I wish some idiots would realise that a noose is a very nice way of tightening onto something and easily un-tighten things ?
I know at least 2 people who tie knots for fun (both ex merchant navy) and do particularly nice knots when rigging and slinging.
It has to be 7 loops I remember but just read it can be 9 or 13 aswell.

I hope that's not it! If someone is going to tie a symbolic noose, they're going to make it big enough to fit over a head / around a neck, or it's not very scary. That looks like a hand sized loop to me.

I’ve had a noose made for me by an angry group of villagers and I can confirm it’s genuinely scary
That one s about as intimidating and scary as a puppy with a flower.
