Wish I'd setup my tripod for my Pixel with its astrophotography mode.

I didn't see any tonight but I did see three things headed in a generally SE-NW direction and one that was more S-N :? Also a very low flying air ambulance with light on, which may well have been enough to mask the Elonites because the sky was still rather light.

I assume you're down in Kent? Reckon there'd be any chance of seeing them in London?

Yes, I reckon you’ll see them in London as it was still pretty bright outside and hazy - and that does appear to be the trick. They only seem to be visible up to an hour-ish after sun set as I presume that’s when they get enough light to reflect from the solar panels but it’s dark enough outside to make them visible.

We were sat outside tonight and randomly decided to look up and see if any were about. We stopped counting at 23..

I haven't checked tonight's time yet but there is a lovely crescent Moon under Venus atm in a still blue sky.

Edit; no bright times given, only dim at 21:01, 21:46, and 23:22. Dim in a dark sky might be more visible than bright in a light one.

21:01 was fruitless/pointless, just had a good spot, albeit sometime after 21:46 and in a small area of sky; 17 in ze general direction, 2 SE-NW (one very bright and clear). 23:22 should be darker and better (if I remember).

45 tonight, 3 roughly N-S, 1 roughly SW-NE, the others in ze general direction. The moon is a lot brighter even though still just a sliver.

I'm feeling hopeful that Tuesday night I might see this damn thing.
Now I've said that it will be cloudy.

I think I finally saw it. One about every 25 seconds, on the same path.

't was good tonight, a good string of them underneath the moon 8-)
I wasn't confident because of the direction they were in and the brightness of the moon but they were more easily seen than many/most of the previous ones (possibly because they were lower in the sky). It would have made a good pic.

Finally I've seen them!!!! All 15 that started coming over from 22.03 not too easy to spot the first but fine once I saw the first then they followed nicely spaced out.

The James Darpinian app shows you really well on Google Street view where to look. I'd have probably missed them if it weren't for that.

That sounds v. handy, pointing the way on google maps 8-)
I spotted however many tonight (and one N-S), made a tad more awkward by cloud coming at them head on and making everything appear to be moving.
