You’ll take my onion bhajis from my cold, dead hands, motherfucker.
 Well then you can keep your hands off my sheek kebab and my wife's samosa. ;)

ShockDiamonds wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2019 12:45 pm We do a work curry each year. Previous years we've always split the bill between us 4 manager-types. Last year, somebody took the piss (we know who it is) and the bill went from the usual £100 each to £140 each as a consequence. So this year, word has gone out, when you order your food, tot-up the total and bring cash on the day to cover your end at least. One of the managers (no, not me) isn't happy to cover the piss taking, and to be fair I can see his point.
How the fvck can you spend £100/head on a Curry???
It’s an initial commitment of £20 but then when you leave before the allotted time it becomes £100
:x

Found out this week that my fave curry house has let standards slip since the old manager stepped down, I haven't been there this year thankfully but still not nice to hear stories like this:

I'm assuming it was a reference to SD paying quite a lot to end his 5 Series lease early a couple of years ago.

I hit the wrong emoji thought!

I can't actually recall the last time I had a curry take away actually, and last night was a simple chicken fried rice from the Chinese take away (too lazy to cook after the drive back from Brum bike show).

This has at least surfaced this post again because the stupid content filter at work doesn't allow that particular page. Some of the guys here had several courses of food (most of them from that part of the world originally, maybe it's the done thing there, I have no idea), it was an interesting meal for a whole load of reasons and the costs added up.
