I would like a date for the easing of the current lockdown tho as its getting tedious.
My mrs had hers on the 5th jan, my step daughter had hers a couple of weeks back, 22nd maybe? My sister had hers mid jan.

So yeah, roll out for people working in healthcare seems to be going well.

Mother in law has hers booked for this Saturday, but by all accounts the booking process was a bit of a disaster. You have to book your second one at the same time as the first one, but there weren’t any slots for the second one within the required time period at the same place she’s getting the first one done. And every time you get through to find no more slots you have to start again from the very beginning putting all your details in again.

Seems to be significantly slower up here but you can't ask why.

My Dad has had his yesterday as he's 70, but my mum who has zero immune system is a few years younger hasn't yet and they wouldn't (obviously) give my Dad's to her.

Mrs Mike is due to go on nursing placement soon so should have had hers but they've managed to screw that up and the booking system won't let them re-book so who knows.
Has is slippery Sturgeon choked yet on the offer of UK Gov't help to speed things up?

I’m a bit pissed off with my dad. He’s in group 2 due to his work yet had no letter. My whole family is registered at the same
GP so I felt something was wrong when I’m in group 4 and was offered a vaccine 2 weeks ago. Did some sleuthing and turns out he never actually registered with the GP 🙄
I remember when moving house 10 years ago we all changed GP - but you had to do a check up to complete the application and my dad never bothered going...

I can pop a vaccine in the post to him for £50 if you like?

I'm pretty chuffed to learn today I've got my 1st vaccination next weds, as I'm on the front line NHS volunteer list. One small step nearer to normality.

Deservedly too, Tim. Followed a blood(y) bike the other day and thought of you.

Still a way to go yet. We had the conversation at the tea-table tonight about where we'd like to be right now, and the kids came up with some poignant answers.

Doesn't he become part of the 5G network or something - isn't that what they believe? :D

Might not be a bad thing. He'll always have max reception on his phone!

@Explosive Newt A friend of mine is going into hospital for a day procedure, had a phone call the other day that basically said they can’t guarantee you won’t catch covid in this hospital, are you willing to take the risk? Is this a new standard or just the one hospital? Guessing someone’s trying a lawsuit or something.....

Well the wife has finally just been jabbed. Seemed fairly quiet in there from what I could tell so I don't know if our local one is operating under capacity or whether people are just doing well to stick to their allotted times.

My folks got done yesterday and my uncle last weekend, which is everyone 'old' in my family that's had their first jab now.
