They said he got a total of 15 seconds of penalties in the end.

Question for JL, what reception will Lewis get for that topless podium celebration from the locals? Especially with his crucifix tattoo?

I’ve just remembered Verstappen managed to snatch 4th from Bottas in the championship. That’s got to be raising some serious questions in the team. I wonder if they’re quietly thinking about switching the roles they’ve given Ocon and Bottas for next season...

I wouldn’t have thought so given that there’s only 4 points separating 3rd - 5th and he’s a compliant number 2 (and I don’t mean he’s a fudgey turd)

And he’d be a comfortable 3rd if he’d taken all his points he gave over to Lewis.

Nope, they had a bit of a shower for a few laps but didn't really seem to have much effect. I was hoping it would turn into a bit of a downpour.

I think everyone was hoping for a wet race. We also need Will Smith at every race!

Reading Adrian Newey’s book at the moment. His opinions of LH is interesting; says he is an “tremendously friendly guy”, and “one of the few drivers who will stop and chat, give people the time of day.” I guess the press just portrayed him in a poor light for a while.

Another thing from AN’s book; Marko picks his favourite and the other guy suffers. Vettel, Ricciardo and Verstappen all came through Marko’s young driver programme, so pretty hard to disagree with his methodology, but AN says Helmut he is a typical Austrian , ie very direct, and with the other pressures can ruin a driver’s entire season*

*See Webber

Can’t remember much from his book other than it was a good read. He portrays himself as quite the player which I just can’t imagine!

Back in WEC? He didn’t excel in F1 did he...
Looks like Red Bull is really struggling to find some decent talent, Gasley isn’t great, Hartley has been replaced with Albion who again isn’t great, and the Torpedo is back.
Max can will have an easy few years in Red Bull.

You know they’re desperate because they’re pulling back people they sacked years ago. Also, who’s the torpedo? I thought that was Maldondildo?

It was definitely Maldondildo, Dildonado was someone else.
