I thought the same with this post...duncs500 wrote: Sun Jan 17, 2021 3:03 pm Frankly I'll breathe a huge sigh of relief when she's gone.
Numbers matter too...
Hmmm - there's no sign of that anywhere in any news outlets. Sounds to me like the nurse is mixed up there. They are reconsidering the 12 week wait for the 2nd Pfizer jab following data coming out of Israel where they've found that the 1st offers very little immunity. The AZ jab is different though in that it confers a fairly reasonable level of protection after the first dose. There's nothing to suggest that the 2nd AZ jab won't be delivered at all though.Mito Man wrote: Thu Jan 21, 2021 9:29 am I've just had my MMR vaccine done by the same nurse who will give my covid one next week. She said the current guidance is that they will only give one dose for the AZ vaccine but are sticking to 2 doses for the Pfizer one.
Yup. Unfortunately the results came back five hours too late to attend the funeral in person. Felt very weird watching a live stream of it.
Aw dammit. Sorry.DeskJockey wrote: Thu Jan 21, 2021 9:32 pmYup. Unfortunately the results came back five hours too late to attend the funeral in person. Felt very weird watching a live stream of it.
Two since March. I rarely go anywhere these days, and my wife is tested at least weekly (and has had the vaccine). As she's always tested negative and I've not had symptoms that has been fine.
400 if them in the same room, that seems quite likely to be on the cards for 'em.Simon wrote: Fri Jan 22, 2021 2:02 pm I see on Sky News that the school didn't know it was going on, and an 'agreement with a third party that allowed events to be organised on site has been terminated'. Not that such an agreement should be used at the moment anyway? There is no such events you could do under current lockdown restrictions.
Those responsible are more than 'numpties', they're criminally evil. Statistically it's almost impossible that no-one attending that had coronavirus. And like rats they scattered when the police turned up. Everyone who attended that should hang their heads in shame. A pox on their houses.
