...and the lamppost. It seemed to go quite far in, might have got away with just bushes rather than anything more solid.

This van driver got away far too consequence free (goes straight to clip);

The other angle video clearly shows the Velar driving off with Mikey on the bonnet. Now I can see that Mikey jumped on his car, but that doesn't mean he can drive off with a 'passenger' lying on the front.

Yeah, it's hard to understand how the drivers actions could be seen positively.

I assume the defence highlighted the fact he waits to catch drivers at this junction and suggested that his confrontations with them are to bolster views on his tube channel only. Probably also showed some of the (multiple) vids where he creeps alongside cars sitting completely stationary in traffic jams whilst accessing their phones, and then triumphantly displays the scale of the fine they received after he reported them.....
