Basically Geely no longer has a stake in Lotus. Not sure what that means for the Eletre or Emeya; Emira is surely more secure?
I'm not going to pretend I know anything about finance but this PH article has a different conclusion. They say Geely is shuffling the different arms of Lotus, not pulling out.
A put option is used to force another entity to acquire something. It’s not just an automatic thing when Lotus has sold 5000 cars in a year; an option is exercised if or when the party which has the benefit wants to, subject to any preconditions.
Lotus Technology Inc is the acquirer of the shares. That is a publicly traded stock on the NASDAQ. So it is not in the control of Geely. Geely had control of Lotus UK with 51% of shares; now they don’t, not even indirectly since they don’t control Lotus Technology Inc.
Geely may still have a shareholding in Lotus Technology Inc but the result of this transaction is that they have gone from having control of Lotus UK to not having control by their own choice. That looks like a withdrawal.

Announcement of limited edition (Jim) Clark Edition. 60 cars (possibly 20 RHD for UK market?) for <chokes a little> £115k.
Changes appear to be cosmetic only, including red drivers seat with black passenger seat.

Tidy looking Evora coming on a PH auction. Could be a nice cheap usable daily for someone
Serviced by Dan as well for a bit of insider knowledge.
2+0 and 65k miles will make for a tough sell. Popped airbag cover is a dash-out job (or used to be) so not a cheap fix. New clutch though, and looks great in white.
Lotus have never done well at auction, so I reckon that won't go much over £20k.

That's what I was thinking, late teens would be a great usable buy. Don't need to worry about putting miles on it and the minor cosmetics, just use and enjoy it

Wheels need yellow.
Price needs halved.

This needs to be added to the Today’s want thread too, if it does happen you could image the costs to be eye watering based on what lotus charge for retro paint jobs.
“We are currently investigating the feasibility of the V8”
Yeah, give people on the waiting list for an I4 or a V6 an excuse to pull their deposit and wait for the formal announcement of the V8, that'll help things
Erm what, I’m thinking it’s not about moving the Emira line to the US but rather building their EV crap over there too due to tariffs and just scrapping the Emira altogether?
