That’s the kind of stupid stuff I’d be doing if I had money / connections.
Not buggering about with politics

I was really hoping it was gonna cut to him ragging the shit out of a Cali, opportunity missed.

Might as well have just carried on from last year.
Good last laps under pressure from the McLaren drivers at the end, but the gap is quite chunky. Max looking ominous in terms of capitalising on Oscar and Lando tangling.

Ferrari have gone backwards. Hoping it's a track specific / quali issue as they seemed to be losing their tyres.

Muted celebration on the radio from Lando, hopefully we're going to see a more fierce and focused Lando this year.

It does just feel like a continuation of last year, the McLaren looks a step above the others though.
Reckon Lawson will make Perez look.

This is interesting. Ferrari and McLaren on a higher downforce wet setup. Hamilton especially so. Verstappen in a pretty trimmed out car.
McLaren getting a 1-2 in quali with that much downforce - it’s their season to lose.
Verstappen being complimented by going the other way but don’t think the Red Bull is a podium car.

Anybody seen some form of report or documentary which explains the last 10 years or so of F1? Something which explains the transition to the hybrid era, when it happened, what the rule and regs changes were? I’m too far removed from F1 now to make any sense of it if I did get back into it.

Have awoken to lots of lovely rain and a prediction (lol) of it continuing until this evening.
If I can't have Oscar bring it home at home then I'd like to see Hamilton do his best rain dance.

Just watch this years racing to get to know the drivers and watch the racing, then next year we'll all have our brains scrambled, as 2026 is a big regulation change.

There's the season review, if you Google the year you want and then "season review" you'll find something from Sky, BBC, Channel 4.
I don't think you can really get better than Wiki for the more technical stuff. Lists all the changes by season.

Nuts, but I was kinda expecting more overtaking.
I think it was more obvious than ever who the top drivers were though.

Antonelli looks the real deal, most of the other rookies... not so much. Tough ask for their first race mind you.

Cant be too hard on the rookies crashing in those conditions when the experienced drives like saintz and alonso are doing the same.
McLaren looks a rock ship.

I agree, they might still be good, but the absolute worldies usually turn up and look impressive right away.
Norris does look like he's got a bit of added steel this year, whether he can retain it when the real pressure is on remains to be seen. Max is just relentless.
