They have one in Windsor (which I think is the only one in the country now the london one is out of action) - I took my little boy on it on his 2nd birthday!Beany wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 2:13 pm Hubnut drives a DUKW, but because he doesn't have the license to drive it on the road, he had to do it on water.
nope, i think it’s the mega-sewer works have taken away their ramp.Beany wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 2:49 pm Oh, are the London ones dead now? ULEZ stuff presumably?
(I used to work around the corner from the Duck Tours workshop/garage/etc)
i can confirm there was no fire on the one I was on. HTH.
I think it was the Liverpool ones that kept catching fire. They've been gone a few years but we managed to do the tour before they got banned.
Glad it's been upgraded to a mega-sewer! Yep, the project took over the slip they used... I think the proprietors have been dining out on the comp ever since.
is it a super-sewer? Or a hyper-sewer? A sewer-saurus Rex? I can’t remember!duncs500 wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 6:22 pmGlad it's been upgraded to a mega-sewer! Yep, the project took over the slip they used... I think the proprietors have been dining out on the comp ever since.

I think they usually say super, but it's like the whole super/hyper car debate.Rich B wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 6:37 pmis it a super-sewer? Or a hyper-sewer? A sewer-saurus Rex? I remember one doing both, I think. On the plus side, the sinking put the fire out. Or maybe I’m misremembering.Jobbo wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 7:26 pmWasn’t it the Liverpool ones which kept sinking?NotoriousREV wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 6:03 pmI think it was the Liverpool ones that kept catching fire.
