Great race. Max pulled 2 seconds in 1 lap on that final safety car restart on 2 lap older tyres so that Red Bull is still the car to beat by some margin, at least on race pace.
Not sure what Mercedes were thinking, looked like they screwed over Hamilton.

I imagine that’s exactly what they were thinking.

Ferrari's batshit strategy are back, hopefully a one off.

Strange decision not to give Hamilton (used) softs when that's what he requested, he defiantly wasn't happy about it.

I watched the highlights on YT. Dissapointed to see The Stapp taking it, although I am pleased to see that he did so without "accidentally" pushing others off. That seemed a risky move from George on the Ham-Bone at the end.

Can we drop some of the shite races and have three more Canadas on the calendar please.

Also a little dissapointed with the final result, but still a good watch.

Hmm his comments make more sense now. Mercedes should have had 2 cars on the podium, with one potentially winning. If this is their way of punishing Hamilton for leaving then it’s a bit of an own goal.

what a non-story. Like anyone knows who Geri Horner is. If you're paying for a big name for your advertising campaign, then you want them to use the big name.

As a result of Perez driving in a car not safe for the circuit Red bull are fined £25k and Perez gets 3 place grid penalty for the next race- that’s him starting last

I was going to say are we ignoring his crap qualifying, lacklustre race followed by a spin and snapping his wing 😂

Surely Sargeant should also get some form of fine, and points and ban. I don’t think he was fully in control of his car the whole weekend 🙄

His whole career more like, however this is an embarrassment of a statistic

Nobody watching? Lando has pole, should be another good one.

I’m wondering how long Max and Lando will keep being referred to as “great mates”

Red bull must be a little worried, they had max lapping imola in the 2022 car to try and analyse how that one is riding and solve the issue they’re having with the new car over kerbs

I think Max went almost a second faster than last years quali time - the car may not necessarily have a problem, might just be that everyone else has caught up way more.

I don’t understand the McLaren strategy, seems like Norris isn’t really making any inroads.

It didn’t work like they hoped to but at least it secured second place
