Furlough - what percentage is this then? I bet its not 80

I cannot believe the "leaks" are not deliberate though. This is happening far too much. Either that or the cabinet is as watertight as a sieve - in which case WTF are they doing to try and stop the leaks?Simon wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2020 9:54 pm I'm gonna cut Boris a little slack on not turning up on time. This was due to happen on Monday, but the leaks forced it to be pulled forward. They were still probably colouring in the slides or something.
That doesn't absolve him completely though, as viewers of my FB rant may have noticed.

As Nathan intimates, closing them will give us some hard data about whether the spread is coming from pubs and restaurants. Or in fact from schools and universities.duncs500 wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:21 am I'd like to know the science on where most of the spreading is happening. Is it really pubs and restaurants where it is mainly happening? My guess is not.
In any case, I think these lockdowns just delay the inevitable and fuck the economy.

Nope. But the hospitality sector have gone to great lengths to demonstrate there is evidence that suggests they're only responsible for a very small proportion of transmission.duncs500 wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 5:36 pmI haven't seen the government release any data they have that has informed their decision making so far.Jobbo wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2020 1:47 pmAs Nathan intimates, closing them will give us some hard data about whether the spread is coming from pubs and restaurants.
