New Vantage in this colour:

Beautiful, maybe slightly lacking in drama from some angles though.
Alpine A110. A bit meh, looked a lot bigger than I was expecting. Looked kind of interesting though, could be a grower.

Here's an odd one for you. My Dad just emailed me a photo of the neighbour selling a sports car we'd never seen at his house before. Must have been in the garage for donkeys years!
It's a Berkeley T60 that has had it's 328cc two stroke twin replaced with a Mini engine so it can do hill climb events. Strange little thing and I'll probably never see another!

That's a nice looking mk2 MX5 you have there - has it been widened at the back?duncs500 wrote: Mon Jan 07, 2019 8:47 pm New Vantage in this colour:

A nice looking blue Alfa Gulia with the registration BA11 UXX which made me chuckle.

I saw a new Jimny which was a massive disappointment. It looks great in photos as it’s isolated but in reality the overly aggressive G wagon styling doesn’t suit its tiny size and just makes it look like one of those cheap Chinese brands that is copying a luxury European product. Saw it parked between a Juke and an old 4 door Fiesta, it seemed smaller than both!
It’s the car equivalent of a really short furious man on steroids.

How about not having a sig at all?

Comedy tosspot car is still for comedy tosspots. I fail to be surprised at anything other than why people now think they are not tragic.

Yesterday - a 997 turbo in hearing aid beige. It might have looked “ok” except it had the side vent in black - it looked awful.

Terrible photo - I could have got a better one but didn’t want the guy in it thinking I liked his car!
I expect it was this colour - desert beige. It just about works on a 930.

No photos, because I was on my bike doing 50mph and my phone was under about 4 layers of clothing but I saw a BMW i8 and a bright green Lancia Stratos (assume replica) having a play on the Mancunian Way one morning this week. They looked amazing in the dull, grey weather.

I think it's 'linen' which is quite a bit lighter (but I agree - not desirable!)Rich B wrote: Sun Jan 13, 2019 9:25 am

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Could well be - I think it was the black side vent that made it particularly vile.
