Haven't seen one in a very long time. Given the tax (£800/year) and consumption (barely over 20mpg, IIRC?) and they're now 20 years old, I was surprised to see quite a few fetch over £10k - or at least, are advertised at.

That does seem steep. The one I saw was on a 03 (or maybe 53) plate, and was not looking like someone's pride and joy. Very cheap daily look about it.

The R3s seem to have a decent following and are worth money, but the earlier ones are either knackered spares or repair, worthless autos or cheap.

I can't remember when I last saw one either. I always thought it fell between two roles. It wasn't special enough to be a treasured car and it wasn't robust enough to be a daily.
I still love the design and the doors.

The Murci and Gallardo get better with age, IMO. Love the cleaner lines.
You used to be able to get a good Gallardo for £60k, looks like those days are long gone!

Fully kitted up Delorean driving down my road last night, then a mate just sent a photo to our whatsapp group of the same:
it was particularly cool because we’d watched BTTF with my boy for the first time the week before after he had a lego delorean in his birthday presents!
