Spotted today in Redditch: what I first thought was a modified Porsche 991 with a very wide body and longer than standard. But looking at the rear as it passed it looked more like the back of a 918. So I don’t know what it was.
I think I’ve identified this now - an RML P39 which is a very substantial conversion of a 992 Turbo S. Longer and wider, including a longer wheelbase.

it nearly works - i hate those trailing front arch details and the rear arches are a bit too slabby- but it’s definitely got drama!

I saw the same thing on a Facebook group and that's how I worked out what it was. It may have been that very car in fact; it was towards dusk so I had a more general view of it as it passed and only saw the rear in my mirror.

Works better from more angles than the box arch singer thing.
Agree about the front wings, would look loads better if the bit behind the wheel went straight down and joined the sill with a vent in front of the door.

Is it better than a standard 992 Turbo S? I don't think so. A Litchfield tune on one of those to 820bhp is well under £20k fitted:

Well after reading that the conversion costs £600,000 and that’s not including the donor car then it’s a big fat no

Unusually classy spec for a factory V8 defender in a development that we’re working on -

They’re also built for extremely short drivers.

Couldn’t help but laugh at this

Can’t quite make it out in the photo but under the door mirror there’s a sticker saying “journey of hope”

Lesson one. That car you can’t afford? Here’s how you can justify buying it anyway
