The boy might have a point. Although I’m not usually a fan of anything other than standard.
Love the blue, might be looking for an Exige this year and that’s the spec I’ll be keeping an eye out for. Looks similar to my S2 Elise in Cobalt Blue.

Which bit would you paint though? The majority of the wheel is black - if you paint all that gold they’ll just look fat and heavy. If you just do the bits that are silver then it might look a bit “arab Prince” spec.

The spokes are thin so it won’t be a slab of gold in your face

Forum opinion does not favour gloss black. This has been duly noted.
Chap on the Lotus forums has clearly found himself with the same conundrum and went to the trouble of plastidipping the wheels on each side different shade, simply to try and aid his decision.
Granted they aren’t the same wheels, but anthracite is looking pretty
Anthracite is the correct option. I just had mine refurbished again in anthracite.

I think matt bronze could look epic. But then again, I use tipoex.....

Seeing them like that, I think they'd actually look good just all done in silver paint.
Of just get them done like they are now but with silver painted faces instead of diamond cut.

Does photobucket work again now?
TWS sample wheels with slim spokes.
Anthracite
Smoked chrome
Smoked Chrome is what i had the vxr8 wheels done in. Black with silver faces,

It does look great, but I think Mik’s bronze suggestion would be even better.
Aye.

I fitted a new full exhaust to the land rover. Taking the old one off, even with the help of the angle grinder, took longer than fitting the nice shiny new one. Which surprisingly fitted remarkably well.
Sounds terribly muted now though and the shiny steel looks very out of place underneath the rusting chassis.

Add some fake rust?
I'll just give it time
Looking over the chassis, I reckon that I've got a couple of years left before I need to replace the whole frame.

That's the lazy approach!

I've said it before but - Land Rover owners are the only people who regard the chassis as a consumable
