The Schwartzwnaheisgger crash is interesting more so because of his choice of vehicle.
He’s one of the most pro EV people in America - basically the face of it in California yet his personal vehicle is a fecking Yukon…
I was thinking, maybe it was just shit reporting of car models as always, and it was his electric GMC Hummer, but looking at the pics, it's a Yukon.... sat on a Prius and a ...cayenne...!?? Eh?
We can always rely on shit reporting for car models (and the spelling of crash!)

The vehicle he was driving at the time... He's well known to have at least 4 Hummers so who knows what else.
It’s no different to the hypocritical crap we get here over cutting emissions and reducing flights and not eating as much meat etc yet the politicians and celebrities carry on regardless whilst giving out a different public message.
Speaking on this weird kind of environment contradiction...
I was in the local BMW dealer the other day having a little service on the M140i and got chatting to a salesman about the brand new, and identical, but registered M3s they had in the showroom
Turns out the new car is significantly cheaper on finance than the older one (as BMW charges less APR on new vs. used car sales)
Which hardly encourages a reduction in environmental impact - by making it better for me to pick a new, rather than used car.
Reduce, reuse, recycle etc
I get it - there's more money for them in a new vs. used car, but while we incentivise people in the wrong direction, we'll never make any real progress.
