The graphics just take it to another level for me. I’ll have to make my peace with the wheels because you’re obviously never going to change them for me

UPDATE
E53 X5 4.8is
CEL on and an occasional misfire. Drove it to cycling on Saturday morning and the flames out the exhausts melted part of the bike rack.
8 x coilpacks ordered, will put them on this week and hopefully that's all it needs.

When it was being built the parts of the MK1 all looked pretty ugly in my eyes but as a package, that is incredibly cool

...... £22k spent in the last 5 years.
£12k Hartech engine rebuild
All Radiators
Exhaust system plus general servicing.
I since replaced all the dampers with updated billies, top mounts, a few arms and various other suspension components.
Plus a wheel Refurb, new Michelin’s and new discs and pads all round and calliper refurb.
It’s currently in for a misfire and it’s had the maf, coils and plugs plus a service and mot inc gearbox oil change.
I am not using it and may sell so if you are seriously in the hunt drop me a line 2002 black/black, nav, sports seats, litronics, no sunroof so alcantara roof, manuel obviously, with only 66k.
........
I must have missed it, but I didn’t realise yours has a Hartech engine
Great specs too and seems all ‘big-ticket’ items have all been attended to in recent years. I know you said ‘another race car lure’ but yours sounds like a keeper.
Yeah they have, will see when I get it back as planning doing the NC500 which may give it a stay of execution but as you say the racing elevates driving way beyond any road/car and as I get older I value comfort more.
Last night after watching Henry’s carfection vid I went and specced up one of these

330i - 2 Phillips Xtreme Vision fitted in place of the mismatched Nightbreaker and std halogen. Definitely seem an improvement on the Nightbreakers. A little more focussed.
Superb - collected on Saturday morning from the dealership straight to a detailers* for a new car prep and protection. Gone with a ceramic treatment as well. I rarely get chance to clean cars these days, so all my kit is languishing in the garage. The flipside to that is that it's a massive ballache when I do get around to doing so, hence I'm hoping that it will make washing easy.
Wife loved driving it for 30mins though, and it did look Superb in the rear view.
*suck it, haterz

Bloody detail ?
When are you booking it in for an intake + remap ?
Hello 380 BHP

Well I hope there's no blood involved
As for remap - not mine, or else it would probably be in fairly shortly! She doesn't really want a fast car - well that's her official line, and I'm sure it's my fault she's ended up with one that's not too slow. Besides, I'm not sure I want 380bhp under my wife's heavy right foot.

I've been using the Autoglym pressure washer product line this year and they're really good if you want a quick wash with great results. I was looking at PDR a while ago and to get the bumpers resprayed but I just can't be bothered anymore. Perfection is a slippery slope towards getting pissed off really easily so I don't care about it much these days.

More so parked with my friends Saph!
Wheels might be changed soon, I can’t make my mind up on them, I hate them sometimes but love them most of the time.

Much like Dave!, I’m not really a fan of the kit or the wheels, but it does look fantastic in those photos!

At the other end of the scale, this continues to pass Mots without fault and just be rather lovely:

Excellent purchase

TBH my first thought was "that looks expensive" - then I googled it, and realised I was still waaaay off

Yeah good bit of kit.
I was lucky to have found this car with all the tasty bits already fitted.
