Just started watching The Trip on Netflix. Not sure how I missed it first time round, but it's great so far.

The Looming Tower (Amazon Video) and Narcos: Mexico (Netflix) both have me hooked.

The Trip is fucking awesome. You know there's no 'script' as such? Just some ideas they know they're gonna discuss. Look for both of them losing it and properly cracking up at various bits. Love the show, really unique.

Love The Trip. Shame the third series isn’t on Netflix but you can get it on Prime for £5.99.

Oh this is out already?!! I only just heard they were making more of them! I vividly remember Big Night Out when it was new - second year of 6th form at the time, it was massive.
I had no idea this was starting so soon either! Will need to get in the case, thanks Simon.

There’s a programme on iPlayer about Primal Scream’s Give Out But Don’t Give Up. It’s the typically lovely BBC4 music documentary style and it explains why the album was released as it was, and why Primal Scream released a remastered version, The Original Memphis Sessions, a couple of months ago.

For those like me who were a bit surprised at the follow up to Screamadelica, but still liked Give Out But Don’t Give Up, it’s fantastic. And I obviously bought the remaster straight after watching. Listening to it now, in fact.

Miss Maisel Series 2 on Amazon which I will try hard to enjoy at leisure and not binge entirely this weekend. Episode 1 was good.

I was thinking about starting Parks and Recreation again but got straight to the point and watched best of Ron Swanson and John Rafioso compilations.

Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa are some of the best characters ever created.

Watched the Whitney Houston documentary on amazon prime with the wife last night (her choice clearly) however it was really good, directed by Kevin MacDonald (touching the void) it was actually very well done!

Just watched the normally wonderful Black Mirror, Series 5 Episode 1. What's the story? Well, it's about a boy in the 80's writing a computer game. That's all I can tell you. Seriously. Because this episode is a genuine 'choose your own adventure'. You decide which choices he makes and ultimately that determines what happens to him, and those choices are executed seamlessly. I watched on my Amazon Fire TV stick and it was slick as! So 'my' story is likely to be different to the one you have. This is unique in Netflix TV history to the best of my knowledge.

Go try it. It's unlike anything else you'll 'watch' for a long time.

Saw that listed on Netflix but my 3.5 year old Panasonic doesn't support it. Darn it.

How are they getting around the issue if you have a non-supported device, or are watching on a PC, iPad, etc?? Is there a "regular" version which chooses for you?

For iPad PC etc, it'll likely be the same as the Fire Stick - just select the option that you want (with finger or mouse) - The way it works is that 2 options appear at the bottom of the screen and you use the remote to select one. No reason why iPad or PC wouldn't be the same. I haven't tried it on my STB or similar yet...

I watched it on laptop and it worked smoothly clicking options at the bottom of the screen. I'm not really sure how much choice I actually had, but that in itself seems to be part of the narrative ... I tried to keep him sane but a lot of the options I chose ended up taking me in rather frustrating loops until I made diffrent choices and he went psyco. I think I got three diffrent 'endings' in my story, I read online after that there's ten possible 'endings' and that the running time can be anywhere between 45mins and 2.5 hours, mine was about 100 mins, so there must be other paths to take.

Yeah we watched this having really enjoyed Black Mirror
We thought it was a bit shit TBH, great idea but poorly executed and ended up being fairly dull and repetitive. I know that it was trying to make you think a bit, but at the end of the day it doesn't find the thoughtfulness to entertainment balance IMO.
Spoiler
I still watched most of the endings, mainly because I wanted to get in the safe!
