Some fascinating/scarey insights into the Dallas Airshow crash (P38 & B17 collision in 2022 - RIP to all the crews).

I have no idea why P38 pilot Craig is referred to as "Creg" however. :?

That's cool - there's fly over here of the current one at the end of the month so looking forward to that.

Interesting vid - I didn't know the props spun in opposite directions on each side

15-20 mins ago I was in the garden putting stuff away, thought I heard a bumble bee them the mote changed and I realised it was a drone. I looked up and spotted it, just in time to see it come over the garden, stop and hover for a bit, then go back in a straight line whence it came. Did not like, do not trust, would probably have shot it were I a farmer.

This guy has been popping up on my youtube feed for the last couple of weeks. He seems to be there every day as far as I can tell.... it's far from fast moving but you can skip back to snippets of action which he seems to capture quite well with his long lenses...

Something incredibly loud flew over the house yesterday that didn't show up on Flightradar. It was above the clouds so no visual but the only things I've heard that compare were a B-52 or a B-1B.

I was down there yesterday and heard something - mid-afternoon ish, perhaps between 3.00 and 4.00pm? Looked on ADSB Exchange and could only see a Cessna or similar nearby and it clearly wasn't that.

A further thought - potentially a B1 bomber flying out of Fairford? Though usually Gloucestershire Live posts an article whenever they take off.

That's the puppy. Maybe Gloucestershire live were too busy posting articles about things that happen in Devon and Hull, as per usual.

The 73 yo had a heart attack, and I always mention keeping your seatbelt on during the flight… but obviously hope everyone (that can!) feels better soon.
