Was out walking a dog yesterday when a moonstone blue Sierra Cosworth (non RS500) came past from behind me. Kinda tricky to tell as it was moving and I'm not an expert in Cossie wheel options, but I believe it was on 17" Compomotives like the car in the image of a library below. Made me grin.

Didn't get a picture, but when we were in Denmark recently we drove past a showroom that would have made @Beany collapse in a heap. From the brief glance I managed there was a white Escort Cossie, some sort of black/dark colour bewinged Sierra, and at least two classic rally style Escorts.

That would get me going, but not as much as the black Z4C I saw in Farsley last night.
300 odd 3.0 coupes in the country, and I see another one down the road from me.
I assume they are now my mortal enemy.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
i saw a Cosseh the other day (badged RS500), it was in lovely condition but i wasn’t convinced on the stance. The front looked pretty good, but the rear wheels seemed too far inboard with an odd camber. it made it look odd from the rear to me.DeskJockey wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 8:50 am Didn't get a picture, but when we were in Denmark recently we drove past a showroom that would have made @Beany collapse in a heap. That does look odd. Looks like the track is narrower at the back, although could be because the wheels are further in the arches.

Found another picture of it online -

i think tbh, it’s just how they used to be - the standard wheels did not even come close to filling the arches…

Lots of these were crashed and re-shelled back in the day.

At first glance I thought that picture was taken in the 1980s.Rich B wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 11:59 ami saw a Cosseh the other day (badged RS500), it was in lovely condition but i wasn’t convinced on the stance. New A6, which is/was the A5 avant.. rear is weird - more form over function, which is not what you want on an estate
