It could have been worse; a couple of inches the other way and he'd have fallen through the loft hatch at the top of the stairs and then tumbled down them, doubtless breaking bones (at least) in the process. Dodged a
As it was he could have used the nearby vacuum cleaner to suck it out.

:lol: my awareness of Bad Dragon comes from when they once sent YouTuber Big Clive a rubber brick, and being the somewhat naive boy he is when it comes to that sort of thing, it took him a long time to realise it wasn't just a decorative item.
