It's not recent, but I've started re-watching Better Off Ted which aired about 8 years ago.
The episode "Racial Sensitivity" where the sensors can't see black people is tremendous. Shame it only lasted 2 seasons.

I’ve started watching Mindhunter on Netflix. We’re 3 episodes in and it’s pretty good. It’s a fictionalised account of the FBI’s attempts to understand serial killers in the 70s, based on the book and work of John Douglas. The pacing is a bit uneven but there’s some great performances in it. Cameron Britton as the serial killer Ed Kemper is amazing, he gets these moments where he’s this stable, likeable guy chatting about his life but he gets darker and more intense when talking about certain things but it’s so natural and subtle, like the humanity drains from him slowly.

Yeah, we loved Mindhunter, slow burn but it sucks you in. Think there's another season coming at some point.

What if he'd managed to unhook a truly exceptional booger and was holding it at the end of an extended middle finger in order to preserve it and in doing so, was more than able to bridge the two-inch gap between a normal key grip and this booger-preservation style? I can readily assume his middle finger is more than two inches long, therefore it is not impossible.
OK - a less facetious example. The confession that was clearly under duress according to the normal conversational cues of the defendant. Do these strict rules apply to someone who is educationally impaired?
Raising a question mark is not the same as definitively disproving a previous outcome and it smacks of sensationalism. In fact - the whole internet warrior response to Season 1, whereby the viewer assumes his / her ability to watch a documentary series entitles him / her to march and protest and get REALLY JOLLY CROSS ABOUT THINGS is absolutely shameful.
So that's that. I don't think I'll be continuing.

They Shall Not Grow Old - Peter Jackson's Great War documentary.
Truly stunning - quite literally takes your breath away at the moment the colourised and normalised (in terms of speed) footage starts.
The saddest part was the rank and file soldier talking about his German counterpart who were basically the same as them.

Ah good stuff, I will do in that case. Tbh your comment quoted above wouldn't have sat easily with me had it been based on just the first two episodes as I would have imagined you would have reached the same conclusions as me - barring, perhaps, The Booger Theory

Yeah, the whole “simple repeating back the same statement to the expert whilst sounding incredulous” in the first few episodes was a bit insulting - but it gets better!

Watched this on iPlayer last night, it's a tough watch. Really brings the futility of the war home, all that carnage for the sake of some imperial posturing.

“Inside the Foreign Office” on BBC2. Fascinating insight into the work the government does worldwide. Today’s was about getting a 17yo British girl out of Iraq whose family was trying to force her into marriage with her first cousin, and the guys who had that pool party in Cambodia. We found it quite interesting.

It's actually a really good programme that probably ought to be on a syllabus - you get to see so much about how this country operates on a day to day basis behind the farce that is our political system.

Oh this is out already?!! I only just heard they were making more of them! I vividly remember Big Night Out when it was new - second year of 6th form at the time, it was massive.
