Damn straight. Mine, of course, is an S4 which means it is 1 better, but that's a detail between friends.

Mik, Scott, do you reckon this is the filming we saw in Scotland (with the image flipped)?

Looks rather likely. 8-) They have clearly used some of the narrower roads in the locale too.

Funnily enough i was wondering about this when I saw HC's vid this morning - the front lights look very like what was under that cover.....

I still dont like the back end of the 992.

Highly possible.

Were they using a camouflaged car for filming? Quite impressive if so; these films always look a bit processed but I hadn't appreciated how much.

No. See page 1

On the way back we had just split up and were held up at Glencoe. Signs apologising that traffic would be stopped for upto 15mins at a time FFS. With no indication of what was going on. We noted film crew vans and assumed a film shot. No flies on us. 8-) When we got going again however, we passed something very low and sleek at teh side of the road under a cover - Brian and I immediately thought Porsche ConceptE :?: So almost certainly a car ad / promo being filmed. Will need to look out for it..... :geek:

Ah, so you didn't see if it had a mirror-image numberplate.

I’ve put in a formal complaint regarding the ad as it encourages speeding and dangerous driving.

No. I was going to be a smartarse and say that - since they closed the roads - they probably just drove on the wrong side  But there are plenty of images with the plate in shot and road signs on the wrong side, so yeah - I assume your suggestion is correct. I was trying to see if the snow poles red-white reflectors were correct, but couldnt really tell.

And if your theory is correct...they must have fitted the car with mirror-image badging too. See 0m 56s for example.

My head hurts. :(

That video says so much about where they 'pitch' their perfect market.

I spotted fitness buff, family with beautiful children, design reading, wealthy designer home, audio buff with an appreciation for vinyl - surprised there was no coffee shot or expensive road bike... :D

Coaster’s theory, not mine.

(Having only watched the video once) It was the road signs that made me thought the image was mirrored.

Could easily have been CGI’d though.

Ok, some CGI trickery going on here but definitely Scottishland.

Watching that video, the rear end is absolutely fine. It’s a great proportioned car imo.
