I have a profoundly weird soft spot for the mutant frog eyed old Multipla. Anything that deliberately ugly must be great, surely.

Ralliart Magna's were also generally stupid in every way but still fun.

Another vote for the ole Kingswood - the Aussie flavour.

I fell in love with them in Aus - very popular with the long boarders..

Big guy - we know how old you are. You tell us in every other post! It's all good 8-) - and not only because most of us need someone to feel young in comparison to these days
He's still younger than Delphi.
There’s skeletons in the Natural History Museum younger than Delphi.

When God said let there be light, it was Delphi who flicked the switch. Fact.

Always fancied a Vauxhall Carlton. No, not a Lotus jobbie, just a plain Vauxhall, even a CDX(i) or a GSi 3000. Auto please. Estate for extra points.

Back at college a friend had a 2 litre CDi auto and it was slow and 'barge' as hell, but also strangely satisfying to cruise around Epsom at lunchtime.

Neighbour had a 3.0 Senator back when I was a nipper. I've always kind of like them.

Then I looked at pictures of them tonight and realised they don't look as nice as a remember.

So now I don't like them any more.

Wonder if a 24v Carlton GSi is worth anything these days - they were quite the machine way back when.

When I lived in London I wanted/needed a large estate and tried a 2.6 CDX estate in luxury Gold. I then tried a Volvo 760 slightly older and it was so much better!

I have a strange hankering for an old Volvo. Or a new one.

Volvos are a very unique driving experience. Something incredibly soothing and satisfying about them.

I've got a bit of a soft spot for the big Vauxhalls, I think it's probably because my dad worked for them for a lot of the 90s. If I was to see one of the 3.0 V6 mk1 Omegas for sale I'd probably pick it up just for the sake of nostalgia.

Omegas got stellar reviews, didn't they.

We had a new diesel CDX (iirc) Omega as a tow car at work in the 90's. I thought it was really nice at the time and always enjoyed driving it.

Vauxhall also loaned me a black 3.2 V6 Elite auto estate for a week and that was fab. I seem to remember averaging 16mpg for the week due to all the joining around with my mates.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself :(
I wasn't going to go there (like NASA), but I was Cortina trap; there was no turning back, I was lost in musings.
