I dunno, there were some kids at my school who seemed to 'forget' their kit an unusually high amount of times...

Coincidentally, I found out recently that the headmaster of my middle school was convicted and stuck on the register a few years ago. So it may have been an edict, not just the PE teacher!

Definitely the case if forgetting your protractor and compass meant your had to do double maths in your birthday suit.

Have been loving this weather for riding. Went to the inlaws at the weekend, in Northants. I rode over to Silverstone to have a nosey at the F1 prep and then over to Turweston aerodrome. I done a pic.

I went down to Glentress for the first time in ages over the weekend, fell off a couple of times. I'm blaming lack of traction . Everything was covered in that really fine dust because it's been so dry.

Was good to get out on some trails. It's only the second or third time I've been off road since I built the Chameleon .

I hope none of you are using your asthma inhalers while riding.

Bird Aeris 145. Taken it for a spin round the local trails (Swinley Forest) and its great. Its far more capable than me at the minute though and my fitness definately needs some work! Dropping seatposts are the work of gods!

Nice. I like Swinley, my kids are big fans too.

Swinley has been my local riding spot for about 25 years now!

i really like Santa Cruz but they’re just too much money. I was after a Nomad but ended up with my YT Capra CF - it was winning the group tests and was the best part of £2k cheaper. Santa Cruz do have that desirability though with the smooth frames and great paint schemes - you see loads of them out.

There is definitely a degree of paying over the odds for a Santa Cruz because they are nice things, but they are very nice things . I could've built something that did the same job as my Chameleon for less money but I wanted a Chameleon.

Saying that, I'm not sure I could justify the jump up to one of the full sus frames to myself.

Sounds like a swinley meet is on the cards then! My boy loves it too but he's only 6 so the blue is enough for him. He gets a bit of a battering though as his Isla bike is fully rigid!
