I did get annoyed that Thomas was going on about how the Corvette didn't sound like an American V8, didn't sound like other Corvettes, it sounded like a European V8, but at no point mentioned the phrases flat-plane or cross-plane. Is that considered too techy for the target audience? :?
I thought he did mention that, which I remember because I thought it was nicely geeky.

i randomly watched ep6 first, i quite liked it. i find myself rooting for Francis to be good because he’s an actual car nerd - the other two are known quantities for presenting car stuff, so i’ve just accepted they’ll do the job well..

His choice of car in episode 2, I think, seemed like it was actually his choice as he drives an old Merc SL in real life.
