You’d want to spend another £250k+ sorting it out including tearing down the shitty conservatory and MFI kitchen units!
There must be tens of thousands of townhouses like that in London

True. Not many can afford it, but a LOT of people want that kind of place. I once owned the lower two floors of a very similar house by Dartmouth Park. And if you can drop £6.5m on a house like that I’m sure you’d be doing a full refurb regardless of current condition.

Exactly.

I assume there must be some sort of status thing to the area to think that is desirable even with a zero knocked off!

We work on some that are over seven floors (after they've dig a sub-basement)! It keeps my engineers fit when they need to do cable testing!

In that road in Hampstead they’ll typically go through a £2m refurb once bought in that condition.

You go down the next road and you have all the mansions owned by lovely Russians and the one that belonged to Gaddafi. The Bitcoin thief lady on the news a few days ago rented and was trying to buy there. Some third world politicians also live there with entirely legitimate sources of wealth.

We've been doing the design on one at the moment where a £300k TV should be going in the garden...

A C’Seed.

It needs an annual service and £35k to extend the warranty from 2-4 years…

We’ve specified a second one for the indoor pool - I do hope we win the install!

Just googled them, they're mental, very very cool too. Do you end up with lots of spiders in them?

How else are people going to know how much money you have? Apparently a plasma TV on the wall in the lobby just doesn't cut it any more :(

It's a TV in the garden now, I'd forget it's there and use it less than the one in the hallway

I guess if you don’t have a driveway to park a nice car on this is the next best thing.

To be fair, I like the tech, but I have doubts about it's actual usability.

I'm sure watching a movie with a lot of dark scenes would be just great fun with the sun setting right over the screen....

I was at a party with topless lady bar staff in Dubai back in 2005, that doesn't help the story but I like that part of the day.

They had an inflatable TV outside in the Dubai sun and it worked amazingly well. It was a giant ball with some kind of projector inside it, the screen was curved but it was incredibly clear.

Big topless garden balls, true show of wealth.
