i can definitely understand what a bore is - some people don't even realise how boring people find them, even when those people try and ignore them in the hope they'll get the message and go away.

As for the ginner bit, is SJ even ginger? He doesn't look it in photos?

Yep, we have 150mbps with ZZOOMM and get a totally solid 190 down & very slightly more up. The modem has failed twice which is a pain but they replaced it FOC both times.

I keep considering upgrading to one of their faster packages (I notice they now offer up to 2 gig) but I'm not sure I'd actually notice any difference ? It has no trouble streaming 4k from Netflix / Amazon and that's the most demanding thing I ever do.

So my initial 2-year contract with them expired and because of technology I have upgraded to 500mbps for £5/month less than I was paying for 150. It's gone live this morning and I get:
