Menopause is now a disability (UK)

Menopause must now be considered a disability in the UK

1. Absolutely fair. Some ladies are massively impacted by menopausal symptoms, and employers should be compelled to make considerations.

2. I genuinely sympathise with sufferers but I don't agree it's a disability. Employers should be compelled to make considerations for those struggling with chronic symptoms via the existing processes which consider medical professional guidance (doctors letters etc).

3. How can an absolute biological certainty for (almost) 100% of the female population be deemed a disability? Surely it's akin to defining puberty as a disability. I don't get it.

As if Di Caprio would go anywhere near a menopausal woman.

The graph of his and his partners ages is equal parts hilarious and gross.

Could do with an up to date version - his girlfriend in 2024 is (you guessed it) 25 but turns 26 on 7 June 2024. Only two and a half weeks away!

Good luck to him…

Marriage, Kids, Stability etc don’t seem to be what he’s looking for so why conform to societal ‘norms’ ??

He’s harming no-one …

To a point and they're all adults(ish), there's something just a bit seedy about dating someone half your age though. Especially when you dump them to keep that ratio.

The last new person I attracted was about 10 years younger than me and there was enough of a generational gap to notice.

I think if I was the 41 that I am and I was attracting model Hollywood types then an equal childhood watching Thundercats wouldn’t be on the chat list.

It would be all yachts, holidays and supercars.

I’m pretty sure the women are doing it for mainly a bedpost tick and some great holidays, I doubt they think they are The One.

Does that make it less seedy?

I'm not saying he has to go on a register or anything, just couldn't imagine dating someone 20 years younger myself.

Like, early 20s folk look like kids to me now.

Early 20s folks are kids to me. I think if a 23 year old lass made a pass at me, I'd laugh

Don't know that games use to come on cassette tapes, as finished products? I'm not interested ;)

Aslong as they act like an adult and are of age I don’t think it’s seedy at all.

Whatever makes people happy and is legal.

I've a mate who's 50 this year and absolutely doesn't want Kids. He's very open and honest about it

No women over 35 is interested in him as, in the most part, they're looking for more than just a relationship. so that rules out any set-ups of friends of friends, work colleagues etc.

His choice is to date younger or be alone. He dates younger.
