Been bored, Rich?
The Volvo Estate..
Re: The Volvo Estate..
I remember Jimmy having exactly the same problem trying to fit 3 kids in the back of an estate car. His solution (divorce) was a bit drastic, mind you.

What’s your favourite car?
You’re wrong.
You’re wrong.

I think I’ve found the target market for the Dacia Jogger!
How about not having a sig at all?

The Civic Type S guy is a 20 year old stereotype. Never let it die, Rich

The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated

I recently found out from my sister that her XC60 is actually this one - the T8 model.
More money than sense

I’m glad it’s back, but it’s nice looking and easy to live with but sadly quite forgettable.

Their estate styling has been really good for a while now, but I had heard that the driving experience is pretty poor by comparison. But does that matter to anyone who's in the market for one?
Cheers,
Mike.

I had a V90 for two years. It was nice. I don't miss it or remember it fondly. I wouldn't have another. So I guess it does matter because I've had one before so I must be the target market.

Re: The Volvo Estate..
The V60 we hired last year in Sweden was a reasonably decent steer I felt. Not the most dynamic but for day to day driving it felt very similar to my E91. There was a heft and solidity to it that I've found lacking in a lot of more modern stuff, including BMWs, and it was supremely confortable. If the E91 died tomorrow and I needed a daily hack with space I'd certainly be looking at a V60.Ascender wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2024 11:15 amTheir estate styling has been really good for a while now, but I had heard that the driving experience is pretty poor by comparison.
