New Merc C63 AMG

First new C63 video I've seen was released on Carwow this weekend. The other two cars are on a 23 plate so at least 8 months old, and the Merc plate is obscured so who knows when it was actually filmed, but I imagine it's current and loaned to them by someone who doesn't want to be identified and not Merc themselves. Why don't Merc want the C63 to be reviewed?

Some odd results overall. I thought they might run a few more times to try to deplete the Merc's battery.

Carwow was always a bit toss, but fucking hell.

I’m more surprised that the cars allowed that. I thought that was more of a gen 1 flappy paddle / SMG thing and anything after that automatically changed up at the red line

No, you can bap the limiter in most cars in their top bollocks sport mode AFAIK?

If they're going to be that incompetent though, just leave it in auto mode.

I watched Harry's video on the new AMG GT and was surprised that it weight 1940kg.

I get they wanted to compete with the 911 in offering rear seats, but it weighs nearly 200kg more than my Tesla and similar to an M5.

Mercedes seemed to have dropped the ball slightly.

Or are they delibrately making cars heavier so when they do go all electric it doesn't seem such a weight change?

It's Carwow, what were you expecting? I'm more intrigued that Merc don't seem to have sent out any press cars at all. Do they not want to sell them?
