Lovely lovely machine, great choice. Makes the weight saving on my car look like a Friday afternoon job. And it shows in the power to weight - 474 for 600lt and 407 for the 430, definitely comparable, especially from the driver’s seat i reckon.
But mainly - surely, surely, SURELY you’re conceiving a plan to get over to the nurburgring to find out what it does best?

Some fantastic shots of the car

and I have to admit that I didn’t realise quite how specialist DK are until Mudge pointed me towards the ad. Not for this thread, but I have been drinking in some of their very professional uchoob videos this week.

DK were an absolute pleasure to deal with, as you’d expect given what they’re more accustomed to selling.
I initially mentioned about collecting the car from them as I was incredibly keen for a nose around their facility. We pencilled in Thursday for collection but I became increasingly uncomfortable travelling to collect, and ultimately decided that I wasn’t going to as it was hardly an essential journey. I didn’t communicate this to them until Tuesday however, feeling pretty sheepish when doing so given how close we were to collection date. Within 12hrs they’d arranged for the car to be transported to my front door still on Thursday.
Car turns up with 2 sets of plates (you can decide which size you want sir) and a quality personalised document folio colour coded to the car, with the car’s chassis number embossed on the side and details of its factory history also included.
To top it off, as they knew how disappointed I was not to visit, they’ve extended an invite for a poke around once we’re out of lockdown and also provided a personal video tour in the interim.
Keeping good company with the only car to have won both the Mille Miglia and Le Mans in the background.
All in the little details.

That's superb. A great experience to add on to the purchase of an epic car. They seem like a classy outfit to deal with. Well done.

407 bhp/tonne is quite something!
Mine is tame by comparison at 292.

Jeez, just had a look at the DK sale list... that must have been the cheapest car on it!

Evora is 250 as std and somewhere around 273 with the manifolds (estimate).
I never felt the full force of Pete’s LT but in the fleeting moments where the turbos drew breath and it still found traction - the way in which it leapt forward was (as you would expect) considerably more urgent. Mudge’s previous Exige already had me reaching for the brake pedal in the passenger footwell - with over 400 I’ll need to find some way to prevent me punching a hole in his sub.

ScottF’s Atom was still the quickest car in which I was a passenger.

Yeah that was “quite quick”. I think he might have had 320bhp then, so around 500 bhp/tonne

Failed massively as when I got round to attaching my go pro via suction mount I did it on the wind deflector so as you got faster the more it wobbled
Got some decent stills from it tho
Heres the only one Ive sorted on my insta. The day was so good. I think the combination of seeing my friends and having a laugh made it special.

He has a new Atom 4 on order from the factory.

Imagine the weather and a convertible helped too!
