Yeah, what would be the point? Might as well get something cheaper to track that you wouldn't have to be precious with.

Fine as a quick road car at 8/10ths but I expect on track you’d see on want stiffer suspension and an lsd as a minimum

If you’ve going to let a totally inexperienced teenager loose on track you need to give them something cheap and safe. I’m thinking genuine sixties Le Mans car here. Get him an original GT40.

Mini Cooper or MX-5 is the answer here.
First car i ever drove on track was an MG-TF 160. Not that im saying buy one of those!

This is patent nonsense. Letting a teenager loose on a track in something that provides easy egress should something go wrong is more advisable.

It was in jest, I'm looking at MK3 MX5s now, they seem a better buy.
