Love it.

Engine must share a lot with the Valkyrie, presumably the same team are doing both. Both sound like incredible engines, I'm loving this final hurrah for the NA V12s.

More details on the TG video. It's a step on by the sound of it.

Give it 3 years after the last car is delivered and I bet they'll be changing hands for £15m

I hope the awkward frog in the headlights look of the front is just the photography.

Spec is truly astounding though. I can't get over that weight figure

Loved the Harry video - watched a few moments of the JWW version and it was cringeworthy! :)

I like how plain it looks, although the rear (and rear 3/4s) look awful.

Sure, I get the fan etc and the design/engineering is massively impressive, but it looks so stupid.

Can't wait to see/hear/read more about this as and when (if?) if makes production...

Aren’t you the one always telling people to talk about cars

I like it, V12, clever tech, fast as fuck. Sounds ideal.
No.

If an MR2 had offspring with a CGT, McLaren F1, Ultima, Zonda and Brabham fan car.

Seeing as I think I'm the only one, I might as well say it: I actually don't mind the fan. :-D

If it's as effective as he claims I don't really mind that it's ugly at the back. It actually reminds me of the arse end of the Huayra, the rest of the car looks mildly similar to one too.

Predictably as a Caterham owner I love it. I always liked the F1's no bullshit styling and this is very similar. The weight obsession is also a car enthusiast touchstone and I don't understand why more manufacturers aren't chasing it as a holy grail in efficiency, never mind performance.

Was very entertained by Chris's podcast, especially GM's racing history and tales, just wish he'd asked him for some Nelson Piquet stories as he'd promised :!:

Harry's video very good too, just Top Gear and Carfection to go  All this free content just demonstrates why print is dead unfortunately :?

Because it's cheaper, easier and more marketable for most of them to add power, tyres and electrickery.

Let's face it, probably only Gordon Murray could actually get investment for something that forgoes headline figures for more cerebral fulfilment.

I think if more people drove a light car from time to time it would gain ground. There are so many benefits.

Dave!

In black it would look like Batmans weekend wheels.

Go BatJet!!!!!!

Awesome feature and true innovation. Not any of this virtual cockpit, Tomy touchscreen, ooh I have a big key fob, massive tyred rubbish.

Dave!

i’m more sceptical - none of the other projects GMD have been involved in recently have actually come to fruition. T25, T27, OX, TVR...

Building the hype is one thing (that GM is very good at), getting it over the line seems a lot harder.

5 grand is not a banger. The only cars I’ve spent that much on have been really nice

I think we have a slightly different scenario here though. In addition to normal funding someone would need to generate in order to bring something to market, he has hefty deposits from wealthy clients. According to Autocar

Most have already been snapped up by global car connoisseurs, notably in the US and Japan, each of whom has paid a £600,000 deposit for the privilege. A further £750,000 is due when their car is specified in detail, with the balance settled upon delivery.

As I stated earlier - I expect pitching this very strongly as “An F1 for teh twennies” has been crucial to secure many of these orders.
