Yeah the Xbox has that too, it'll keep your 5 most recent games active so you can just jump back in where you were. I still log out of GTA online because old habits but one time I turned the machine off while it was still on the loading screen and when I turned it back on it was on the same loading screen.

It's handy for me though as I usually havea couple of games on the go at once.

My PS4 shit the bed last month, I was torn between just buying another or waiting for PS5 to become available. Glad I waited.

Actually Jobbo is the PH GTA crew still going? I didn’t have my PS4 for ages and I wasn’t playing much after my account got wiped. I assumed it had died as the forum thread has been dead for ages.

Is GTA online cross platform? Or are PS players only linked to PS players and so on?

No crossplay, I’m hoping we’ll at least get Xbox to PC when the new gen ones come out in Nov.

I was at my PC, an had a PS5 in my basket the instant it went live this morning. Could I complete the purchase? Could I balls. It just constantly errored, I couldn't get the transaction to start. By the 4-5th attempt and removing/re-adding...they'd gone.

10m PS5's shipped apparently and still a massive waiting list.

Matt, I used a Twitter PS5 stock notifier which gave tips as to how to check out and avoid problems.

I think PS5/XBox cross platform play is optimistic but that would be great.

PS5 procured, several hours setup while it updated Gran Turismo. I had a run around Astros Playroom in the meantime, a cute demo for the new controller if nothing else.

Huzzah. Finally bagged a PS5 early this morning from the Argos drop.

Hopefully it'll turn up for the weekend so I can start burning through a large back-catalogue I've been looking forward to during my console hiarus. God of War, TLoU (1/2) and the Uncharted series are the starting point I think.

Bought a disc edition as winter is approaching and they’ll probably be hard to get as we get close to Christmas again.
Delivered today, Spider-Man bundled with an extra controller. Meh about spider man, it’s pretty lame.

Had a gander at the PS store and £80 seems like a normal price for a game now Thank fuck they kept CDs for the PS5.
It’s pretty damn noisy for a new console too.
