When I sold the 'xige I requested bank transfer and the buyer agreed (I sensed some reluctance). Then on the day of collection he just rocked up with cash. Took forever to count, and I didn't enjoying having to take that much money to a bank.
I hate both buying and selling cars, but selling is worse.
Bank Transfer will be my preference

Are you sure? You might have taken a deposit without knowing - it’s quite confusing.

Are you sure? You might have taken a deposit without knowing - it’s quite confusing.
Ive checked my pocket and found a receipt from the local swimming pool - Is that a deposit?
