I thin Stewart Lee is brilliant, have loved his stuff for years and only recently was watching Fist of Fun again. He's spot on in what he says there and I'm not sure I read it as being bitter or even directly at Gervais, but the people and industry around him.

The best I've heard Gervais is when he's with Merchant and Pilkington just riffing and chatting - I've still got mp3s of their XFM show, their other radio stuff and podcasts which are always entertaining.

I meant to say, WTF was Clarskon thinking last week? When I first saw the noise about it I assumed they'd dug up something from years ago he'd written, but no, he actually made the conscious decision to come out with stuff like that at this very time when Australia is burning.
