When you see how Hulk and Magnusson have gone in and plopped on the incumbents it does make you realise they wouldn't be there without major money.

Fun so far. The fake crowd noise they're piping in can fro, though.

Hmm, for me the short Leclerc/Verstappen battle was the only good part - falling a bit asleep for the rest. But Bahrain can be a bit of a shit track.
I’m a bit upset the cars don’t look crazy fast anymore even with the low fuel loads. The new graphics don’t seem to show the fastest lap either.

Loosing Honda backing seems to have hurt red bull Honda powertrains. 3 engine failures out of 4

Yes very interesting - my understanding is that they’d basically taken on pretty much the entire Honda engine team with transitional services to be provided for several years.
Anyway - karma’s a bitch ain’t it!
Leclerc drove fantastically today too - a masterful drive under pressure from Max.

I thought they went back on that - it’s all Honda and Honda managed just without being branded Honda.

I think that red bull had poached quite a few Mercedes engine engineers over the past 18 months.
The new regulations have shuffled the pack, I do not expect to see it settle before the summer break.
What is it about Horner, he wasnt always this irritating.

Great watch on highlights - except for my sky box thowing a fit on lap 54/55 and coming back to life with Verstappen vanished!

LOLZ couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.
Great drive from CL, and some good battles with MV. Ferrari clearly had the edge on race pace though, when many were thinking the RB would. Delighted for Ferrari really, about time they got their shit together.
Good start all in all.

Oh, and some of the production was shocking today, showing battles of two drivers and highlighting different drivers on the list to the side, cutting to MV trundling into the pits while LH was in a fight with SP, among many other examples. They better square their shit away sharpish.

Was just reading the comments on an F1 article and someone referred to Christian Horner as "whinger spice".
