It’s really clear from the top down angle how extended the side pods are this year due to the extra crash safety. Looks laughable.
Even worse head on……

Bloody hell hopefully some teams can resolve it better

Yeah, really not seeing the issue and pretty sure the other cars will be identical in design terms.

The new side pod intakes remind me of this

Just looking at that Haas ass compared to last years car - the rear end is seriously tight this year. Some impressive work by Ferrari to shrink everything down that much.

Every year people say the new cars are awful looking and the previous years was great. Every year.

Haas ought to have the fastest car on the grid considering they basically sacrificed a whole season to develop it.
If it's shit one would imagine heads will roll.

I think overall it looks great, just the side pods are massive and the intakes are tiny

Doesn't look drastically far away from what the 2021 cars look like. A few pinches in the design here and there, and not so many strakes and vanes. Looks a bit more simplistic, which is a good thing.
Will hopefully get a bit more non-drs overtaking happening....

Red Bull have launched their “RB18” - however it’s just the same old F1 prototype that’s been around for years in their livery which is an even lazier effort than Haas. Not worth reposting…

I was just reading the piece on the BBC on it by Andrew Benson and the first Horner quote to come out of it is about the number 1 on the car.
I wonder how many thousands of times he'll mention it during the season.

Just watching the Aston launch, wow awful, Lawrence is truly embarrassing himself. Probably leave the public speaking to someone else next time if you can barely read an autocue.

I’m even more impressed with the Haas arse and rear end packaging now
The Aston looks comprehensively thick in comparison with way more cooling. Either Ferrari have an amazingly compact power unit and gearbox or the Haas is a POS which will overheat after a few laps.
Let’s be honest it’s probably the latter

Isn’t the haas just a computer generated lookalike too? On some close ups some of the suspension links don’t even penetrate the bodywork.
We’re going to have to wait until they’re on the track to see what they really look like.

Astons intakes are small like those on the haas but they’ve added black paint to avoid the eyes too close together thing

Well the Aston livery is much better than last year's anyway.
