Get Shorty S2 great series, huge leap in production quality this year. Chris O'Dowd must be thrilled

Informer was very good - Paddy Considine playing a git is always worth a watch.

God damn, it made me angry.
Indeed, it's kind of nerve wracking, gripping and infuriating at the same time. Makes for good TV though! I'll have to watch S2 at some point, but can it be as good? I can't see how, but those wily TV producers often find a way.

its well worth a watch - the amount of stuff the new lawyer finds wrong with the original evidence is mind-boggling.

Yeah, whether Avery and Dassey are guilty or not, the incompetence of the police and FBI, and the arrogance of the DA and his department, is stunning.

The Walking Dead Big episode last night. Not too much of a spoiler* to mention that it was Rick’s last episode. I’m quite glad to see him go the way he did, it was a great episode, a worthy end to his run in the show, and will hopefully lead to a fresher feeling show

I’m carefully optimistic about the show moving forwards, and was getting extremely bored of it

*It’s been in the press and previously had been announced by the network

The First - 2nd episode on now. First one was good, although I guessed the plot line (which actually made it more tense tbh). 7/10, but good potential.

Channel 4 / All4

Half way through S2. I can only watch it in short stints as it just infuriates me at the outstanding incompetence and arrogance of the prosecution and the defence.

Started Homecoming. 3 episodes in. Slow burner but enjoying it so far. Can't remember the last time I saw Julia Roberts in anything since Pretty Woman. (ok, Notting Hill. ok, Erin Brockovich)

Anybody watch House on Haunted Hill on Netflix? I thought it was cool, even if the ending was a bit all over the place.

Necessary to watch S1 again before starting S2, or do they do a good recap?

it’s mostly recapped as they go - I wouldn’t worry about rewatching.

House of Cards Season 6 is back, without Kevin Spacey. It’s good again. I’m 4 episodes in. So far enjoying it, but wouldn’t recommend it unless you’ve watched the rest. I’m not sure if we’re allowed to watch Kevin’s Spacey stuff anymore?

It does do that thing, which I think they do to make it seem “intelligent” by not really explaining stuff very well. Maybe I’m just a bit ffick?

Did the last series get better towards the end? I got about half way through and lost interest.
