I really must get the S1 up to Scotland, I suspect it would be quite magnificent.

Lovely isn’t it - i spoke to the guy and he was firm on cost, it still sits a little outside my budget.

Have you told him there is CASH waiting if he decides to lower the price?

Thats the next move, followed by telling him i can get the same thing cheaper from a dealer with a warranty, before finally telling him it’s a crap spec and he’ll never sell it.

Bit less cash so would give some budget to make it what you want.

i really like it - shame it’s in Glasgow.

i’m warming to the idea of a cheaper S1 that isn’t perfect, because if it lives outside my house on my drive, even a perfect one isn’t going to stay that way.

Travel might be inevitable for the right car.

Ive seen the car and met the owner. He's running my geo settings I used on my S1.

Im not in Glasgow however. Im east of edinburgh.

I am in the correct city, but I can't claim to be an Elise expert. :ugeek:

Can you ask him to offer an Evora for sale instead? If yes - like George Michael - I'm your man. 8-)

Craig Moncrieff (indie based in Edinburgh) does inspections. I've never used him for this but it might be an option for you to consider?

Yeah, Glasgow is 7.5 hours of driving from me - more than i’m willing to do for a car that may turn out to be crap!

i’ll give him a shout anyway, but as a time poor father and husband to a perimenopausal nutbag, i have to choose my car viewing opportunities carefully! 😂

I know that car, it’s parked on my way to work.

I’d say it’s lower than that just now. Happy to have a closer look if you want?

Yeah, I would’ve assumed. I think it looks great being really low tbh.
