I feel for those without a roof and aircon today. My car said 29C when I got back in. So I turned up the seat ventilation.
I was unwillingly in solidarity with them today - the 911’s air con gave up the ghost this afternoon so I did the 2hr run back from Oxford slowly being cooked. The temperature reading was still showing 35 degrees at 7pm
Weirdly the fan seems to be audibly on / responding to inputs with wisps of cold air out the vents but no substantial amounts of cold air coming out. I reckon the flap somewhere in the bowels of the dashboard that directs air between different vents has either broken or stuck shut. Note to self - ensure warranty is renewed in June!!

Just repositioning the front indicators isn't going to be enough now
I thought that video explained why you were a bit later getting to the pub than us, but that was before the B660 wasn't it? So you rejoined then got lost again?

No, that was on the 421 leaving Bedford,
I was behind Duncs, marv and GG, and ahead of the rarri for most of the run. Lost contact when baulked by traffic, then lost my maps and took the wrong turning onto the A14 so headed west. Had to do a few miles before I could turn and come back the right way

Talking of hot weather smugness , my Volvo is the first car I've owned where I can pre cool the interior before use. It's very good

I remember sitting in cars with black vinyl seats in the 1970s. In shorts. Surprised I don't have scars on the back of my legs to be honest.

I thought at the time it would have been fun taking the Alfa to C&M, then on the journey home was glad I wasn’t in a heat soaked, poorly vented greenhouse on wheels

Anyone want to try a basic Vauxhall vivaro with no air con that’s been parked in the sun all day? I’ve got to drive home soon and can honestly say I’d rather walk

@integrale_evo didn't spot you at the H-Town meet yesterday, I was keeping my eyes peeled for the Compact! Did you go?
Decent turn out:
